There were rocks for climbing, grasses to be waded through, flowers to be picked.
Trinity says "Oh mom, sit right there...let me take your picture with that lovely flower."
The word *lovely* just doesn't seem "lovely" enough does it. Thank you God for wildflowers.
After a little picnic (sandwiches and fruit in fresh mountain air makes the top of my *most enjoyable occasions* list) we packed up our cooler and Disney cups and made way for the trail...
Don't forget the Bug!
Brady wasn't into the trees so much even though this picture depicts him a little differently. I asked him a question at one point about something nature related and he answered "Mom, how old will Finn be in 2025."
Twas nice having an extra set of hands along to help with littles - Tristan started storing rocks in his cargo pockets after watching Grandaddy storing away some in his. Such lovely trails and gorgeous trees...
Aspens are so beautiful - someday I'm going to have a yard with at least six of them (one tree per family member.)

Looks so beautiful - you are making me want to move to Colorado! How are things going - settling in? How are the kids liking the big move?
Looks like a great day! Thank you for your sweet comment on my blog and letting me know there are others in the same boat with this homeschool journey!
