North Carolina

On Friday last week we took off for North Carolina to attend the Corley reunion...or maybe it was Coffey? Anyways, both kinds were there. The top picture was taken at a rest stop on the way there. We packed a picnic to take with us and when we got there we couldn't believe that we were the ONLY people there taking advantage of all the picnic tables and the view!
This was at the reunion....all the original Corleys....well, I guess Mama C isn't an actual original Corley....but they were there together before I married into the family. And then there is Brayden on the end....a little token of Zac and my love. :) Funny how generations just keep going on and on.....

Zac's grandparents have tons of acres in the mountains....it's called Roseboro. There are several ponds and gazebos on their property, so there was plenty of room for me to go for a walk after I ate my very southern lunch. Plus Brady loved all the water. We took along his water shoes and a change of clothes - he needed both!

Here's the gazebo....Brady did laps up and down the bridge.

One of his "laps"....

And then this was on our way home. We stopped in Ashville to go to a Farmer's Market(it was like heaven for me) and then we stopped in Cherokee to do some site seeing.

Resting Brady on my baby bump.

Hi Alyssa,

Your vacation looks wonderful! I have been wanting to steal my hubby away to Asheville for years but it is so hard to leave the kiddos. One of these days... You are just so cute! Hope you are feeling well :)

It looks like the trip was a great one! The Corleys have a beautiful place...and I love the stops to and fro allalong the way. Is that Cherokee where you are on a bridge holding Brady Bunches? I love that town!
