Gee....what a great title. I'm a little brain dead after our weekend in Atlanta. It's one thing to take care of two kids...it's ANOTHER thing to take care of two kids by yourself AND take care of your husband. Poor Zac....our whole weekend in a nice hotel on a soccer tournament and he was miserable the whole time! His leg is just awful...it's all swollen and he can't put any weight on it at all. He was suppose to be on crutches for 3 days and today is day 6 and no progress. I feel terrible for him.
We got to stay at the Crown Plaza which was super fun...Brady had his own double bed so he thought he was definitly living the good life. For the most part he did well...except oh my goodness...the most embarrassing thing happened at dinner one night. Brady had been a little odd that whole day and he was definitely not listening to me...no matter what I did to get his attention. Plus...he worked it out in his head that when daddy would tell him to do something he knew that daddy couldn't keep up with him because of his crutches. :) So...we were at dinner and we had a wonderful time, Brady just colored and colored and Zac and I had a pizza with chicken and garlic - delicious. At the very end I told Brady that we were going to go to the car and that we would color when we got to the hotel. I had Trinity in the sling and I was carrying all of our gear (I carried EVERYTHING the whole weekend...as well as packing for all of us, unloading me and the kids plus luggage..you get the picture) Well, he threw himself on the floor. Let me say this again...MY CHILD THREW HIMSELF ON THE FLOOR. I was mortified. Not only did he throw himself when I told him to get up he screamed and kicked. So there I am looking like a total idiot and Zac felt totally helpless because he couldn't really help me because he couldn't hold anything. SO, I got Brayden out of there while trying to hang on to Trinity. WHen we got outside I explained to Brayden in a very forceful manner that we don't EVER pitch fits and there on the sidewalk he does this again. Let's just say that when we got the car Brady wasn't a very happy camper. Then he stayed awake until 10 pm. I don't know what happened or why it happened except maybe to teach me to be patient in all circumstances and to stick to my guns. Gracious.

congrats on sticking to your guns....i hear its worth it... :)
I sit here chuckling and coughing! Chuckling because you have SUCH a way with words! The last sentence just keeps me giggling. (and coughing because I'm still getting over my p-monia). Hope things go better at home this week. You are all in my prayers. Love you bunches and so sorry I had to miss out on the "fun" this weekend. I'm looking forward to Spring Break!
from experience with four...
they all do it at least once..
someday you can laugh about it with him....
by the way, friend...u look GORGEOUS in those two pics of you....
Well! It sounds like your a pretty amazing mother if that's the FIRST time he's thrown himself on the ground in a fit! That must have been one hectic moment. I'm sure someday you'll look back and laugh. My parent's still laugh about me as as child. I would throw HUGE fits for reasons such as spilling bubbles, or having the toe of my sock on wrong....So, I guess every kid has their moments for their own silly reasons. Cute pics by the way!
Yippee, Trini! And I hope Mr. Zac is looking more chipper by now. What a weekend he had. I wonder if I have ever seen him look so sad...may Brayden's fits be few! Those are hard on the mommies.
