For Easter weekend Zac and I drove down to visit my grandparents in Blounstown Florida. They hadn't seen Trin yet so we thought that she would be at the perfect age to go....still holdable but super animated. Within 10 minutes of arriving my grandpa had Zac out in the yard playing "swat the bees"....a favorite past time of his. The gyst (sp?) of the game is to walk around the yard until you find a bumble bee and then you kill it with a tennis racket. So far my grandpa has gotten 105 this year. :)
Here's a picture of gramps himself, one of my most favorite men. Just visiting him we came away with 4 cutting mats, 2 piggy banks, a bag of old fashioned peppermint candy and a bag of pecans for me to shell (well, those were from grandma.)
Here are their gorgeous azalea bushes in bloom - Florida was actually kind of pretty this time with all the colors.
And here I am with my grandparents and our kids great grandparents. Stupid me forgot to take a picture of them with their great great grandma. Hopefully next time...
Just down from their house we found a little park for Brady to play. It was super nice because anytime he had a spurt of energy Zac could just walk him about 2 blocks and they would spend about a hour going down slides and swinging.
