First I have to start this post by showing you what I see when I look up from my flowerbed...this beautiful little girl. Yesterday I was out front weeding...Brady was playing with the water hose and Trin was on the porch. I looked up to check on her and she was just staring at me with these beautiful eyes. Oh my gosh...I hope I never forget the sweet smell of her skin or her curious eyes. There's not a very good chance of my forgetting with all the pictures I take!
I realize that I do have TWO children but Brady is so hard to take a picture of these days with how active he is. So...this post will be mostly about Trini. She is doing just great and getting so big. She's a little over 16 lbs now and will be 8 months on the 29. My friend Havala came over the other day and we were talking about how we can't believe how fast time has gone by. She was there with me when I gave birth to Brady and we were both just looking at how long his legs were. Gosh time goes by so fast! I can't believe someday Brayden will be a full grown man with whiskers. It's just the oddest thing!
Trin can grab a hold of anything now and stand up. She crawls REALLY fast and sometimes if I turn my back to long it takes me awhile to find her in the house.
I just started making her baby food last week and she loves it! Yesterday I cut up some peaches and boiled them for just a minute, ground them up and she ate the whole bowl! I was going to try and wait until she was 9 months to start solids but she was ready. I'm still nursing her and I think she's only had one or two bottles from Zac in her whole life and that's it! She wouldn't take a bottle when she was super little so i stopped pumping for some odd reason and then just never got back into it. She's always with me anyways so kind of a waste of my time for now...or a waste of milk...however you want to look at it.
Only 4 days and we will be heading for Kate's wedding. It should be a fun time with all the family. I'm a little nervous about it but have decided that I need to give up some of my structure in order to survive the trip. So...Brady will not be going to bed on a strict schedul the whole time...it just woudn't work with the time change and the activities for the family. We want to be with people as much as possible. If you think about us on Thursday pray for safe travels. It's a 10 hour car ride with the kids so you know how that goes....
