Well, for the last several days Brayden has been a little "aggresive" at the table. Meaning, he doesn't want to eat and he turns his face away anytime you put the spoon to his mouth. Normally I let him eat finger foods, but there are times when stuff we are eating requires utensils! So, after many evenings of unhappy mealtimes I just handed him the spoon. He LOVED it. He ate an entire bowl of rice, grain by grain. So, I'm thinking maybe the whole time he just wanted to do it himself and for SOME reason my mind hadn't wrapped around the fact that he's big enough. So, last night we had salmon patties and he adored them, ecspecially the dunking in ketchup part!I forgot to mention that a couple of weeks ago we had him weighed and he's 26 lbs. I forget how tall he is though.....hmmmm, somewhere in the 90th percentile. He's still using the toilet but we're not diaper free yet. I haven't tried just taking him somewhere else in training pants, guess I just haven't wanted to deal with the mess yet. Plus, this weekend we're going to North Carolina so maybe when we get home we'll start using the little training pants. Right now he just gets lots of "naked time."

The look on his face seems to say, "Now THAT was a good meal! Ahhhh...."! Such a cutie pie! And I really do think you ought to tell me the name you've chosen for Number Two as I have absolutely NO friends who are pregnant or planning on getting pregnant and therefore, libel to swipe the name from you. Why keep it secret...I have to call her Number Two for pete's sake and that just doesn't sound very proper!! Come on, spill! Love and kisses...
