I've finished two sewing projects and had a list of other things I wanted to invent and sew and then my machine started messing up again. When it sews the top string goes down and gets tangled around the bobbin and I can't seem to fix it. I'm guessing it must be a tension problem but I've adjusted and readjusted and nothing. :( I love my machine because it's the one I grew up watching and learning to sew on (welll......that and a tredle machine) but I think it may be getting time for me to get a new lighter model. Seems how my goal this year is to sew, sew, sew and sew some more it's a slow process just using your hands. :) Any suggestions as far as a new model goes?
Today holds brownie making, bread making, laundry, a trip to drop off stuff at a consignment shop, dropping off *items* at the thrift shop(a weekly event around here), playing and more playing, reading and more reading, and then later tonight Havala is coming over fore a visit. I'm super excited about this since I haven't seen anyone since the family was here for Christmas and then a short outing with Havala about 10 days ago! Yep...haven't seen a single soul, save my own family, in 10 days. Hmmmm...maybe the reason I've been feeling a little blue in the evenings?! Anyways, it should be great fun drinking tea and watching an old comedy together. Oh...and we found out this week that Hav's sister Kristin is preggers!!! Yah for a new baby!!!! I love new babies.
Oh, and just a sidenote - Brady loves his *new* room and even cleans it up on his own accord every night before bed. Not joking - I mean LAUNDRY being put away...every toy in his toy basket...nothing on his dresser...everything. He comes and gets my hand and pulls me to his room and says "LOOK! I'm proud of you!" It's funny how he always says what he wants me to say...kid's are so honest.
