My Gifts

I'm not sure what I ever did to deserve.....

- playing with these golden tendrils everyday and looking into an angel's face
- hearing his rolling deep belly laugh....
- receiving kisses from this sweet mouth, or....

- watching new freckles dot his face on a daily basis....

- having my sunflowers turn out to be multicolored even though the picture on the packet was of an ordinary ( if there is such a thing) yellow flower.

- having my own personal etsy models....

- giving birth to a cherub

- seeing my own appearance and my love's molded together forever in my child's face.

And this last picture is just for kicks. I thought it was funny that I didn't even notice that my photograph subject was feasting on grass and dirt until AFTER I uploaded my pictures. :)
We've had a good week even though I was a bit lonely. Zac flew out to Colorado on Tuesday morning...returned late on Thursday and then had to go into work on Friday morning and has been gone ever since. I'm excited to have him home for tomorrow...even though I just...sniff...found out he's working again Monday. Blah.....
I guess one good thing about Zac not being around is I am able to realize even more than I already do how much I love him and need him. Thinking of Zac tonight, as I was putting together this post about our lovely children God has given us, I came across these verses that made me feel even MORE in love with him....funny that the Bible can be romantic....even though I don't quite no why I'm surprised - God's word is the essence of love.
Proverbs 30: 18-19
18 .There are three things that amaze me-
no, four things that I don't understand:
19. how and eagle flides through the sky,
how a snake slithers on a rock,
how a ship navigates the ocean,
how a man loves a woman.

That's a very beautiful and romantic proverb. :)
Motherhood is such a joy. I look at my little fella every day and wonder how I could be so blessed.

Yeah, I get quite bent out of shape when I have to share my hubby with anyone or thing outside of his work time. Guess that's a good thing because it means I enjoy having him around. :) I would HATE him being gone for 24 hrs. at a time, BUT....absense truly does make the heart grow fonder.
