Oh well

For some reason stupid blogger won't upload any of my pictures right now EXCEPT this one. So...I wasn't really going to blog about my bed, but .... I love these gold pillows I got two days ago for a DOLLAR apiece! Anyways, sorry about the boring post...I was going to put pictures of Brady with his new kitchen and me with my Biscotti jar that Mama C got me for my birthday. Maybe tomorrow I'll have better luck.

Fun Day

Brady and I got our first pumpkin of the season. I love doing little traditional things like this...
And here's sweetie....later I'll blog about his new minature kitchen I found at Salvation Army.

Also, today I made our living room over by just moving stuff around from other rooms. I had this rug in my back room and no one ever saw it....then I just changed throw blankets and pillows around. The only thing that I purchased was this red curtain...I wasn't sure if I would like it at first but now I do.

23 on the 23rd = Spoiled Rotten

Yes siree, today is indeed my 23rd birthday and I have felt overwhelmingly loved this year. To start off, my friend Emily took me for a pregnancy massage and pedicure a couple weeks ago...one of the BEST experiences of my life...right up there with getting married and having a baby. THen, my grandma sent me these fantastic earrings that she handmade! I love them so much and have been wearing them for 3 days straight.

Josh and Rachel sent me this awesome Pampered Chef bakeware. I've been wanting one of these dishes forever so now I'm just waiting and envisioning my Sweet Potatoe Casserole being pulled out of the oven at Thanksgiving. My parents got me the complete Christy series on DVD - wonderful for late night feedings in the nights to come. Thanks mom and dad

Kate sent me this lovely scarf/shawl which I adore. Kate, I took this "sultry" picture just for you.

And last but not least, the love of my life knew that I had been desiring for some time to pick up some new hobby, or to learn to play an instrument. When we were in North Carolina months back I saw a dulcimer at a Farmer's Market and loved it! What's more is the man demonstrated to me how to play little tunes and such and ever since I have been seeing myself as a Applachian Mountains woman, strumming sweet tunes to my family ( laugh out loud.) And so, with all that said, Zac made my dream come true last night and presented me with this gorgeous dulcimer.

For Sale

I'm happy to say that our home is officially for sale and should be posted on ReMax sometime next week. Good....now I don't have to worry about that anymore. Now I feel calm knowing that we still have at least a year in Georgia but our house already listed. If it sells we will just rent something until we KNOW exactly where we want to end up. Oh....no recent belly shots but I am 35 weeks and the picture on Corley Baby from 33 weeks still is accurate. I don't think I've gained weight the last two weeks so.....
Zac's coaching a soccer tournament in Cleveland TN this weekend...go Signal Storm!

Handsome Men

Brady went to visit his daddy today at work....where I captured this priceless picture. I just loved the fact that Brady was SMILING! Everytime I snap a picture he's super serious and then when he sees the flash he giggles....a smidge to late for a perfect pic. Anyways, fall is in the air and I'm having a blast! I played with Brady in the yard today for a hour and didn't get bored or worn out at all. I've been cleaning all day and now I have a pie in the oven - first of the season.

Big Boy

We are so excited because it is finally cool enough in the mornings to REALLY enjoy our front porch. This weekend it is suppose to be in the 50's in the morning...yee haw!!!!!
This morning I got Brady ready to go for his play date and it was the first time I had to put him in 2T clothes. It was so exciting putting on his new clothes (I got some GREAT deals at this little consignment shop) but also such a HUGE reality that babies don't stay babies. He's been gabbering a ton this week so I can tell he's really trying to talk.

Me and My Friend

Blurry - sorry about that. Anyways, Brady and I have been getting along just "swimmingly." Today was the first day of my fall Bible study and it was so nice meeting with other moms again. Brayden was in childcare while I was there but I think I'm going to try and leave him at home or with his Grammy from now on. It just gets too long and I like him to be with other kids but I don't like 3 year olds to be hitting my child and I can't be there to make sure it doesn't happen - or to make sure Brady doesn't hit them back.
I can't believe he will be 20 months this month - or is it 21 months? I never can remember anymore. He's getting so big and he's learning so much. Yesterday we went with Zac while he coached a soccer game and the time was just so nice because Brady and I got to play in the shade and he was such a delight. At my Bible Study there was a little 6 month old boy named Avery and it just made me a teeny bit sad that I no longer have a baby boy. Of course, we are getting a baby girl, and I will love her TONS, but there is just something about those boy babies. I hope I get to have another one someday.

Out with the old - In with the new Part 2

So we decided to update our refrigerator. We wanted to put a new appliance into the kitchen for selling purposes ....
Brady waving goodbye to the old fridge - the first fridge he ever had. :)

And here's the new one which I adore. Just the fact that I am the first person to load the shelves with and drawers with OUR food is a wonderful feeling. Yes, I like purchasing new appliances.

Pet

Out with the old - In with the new

Here is our old linoleum floor. Pretty disgusting....Okay, the picture doesn't actually show how dirty it always looked. I seriously could not get it to look clean even if I scrubbed it on my hands and knees.
Here Zac is after the got the new flooring in and they had put back all the cabinets. He had to take out the cabinets, diswasher, oven, all that stuff and then tear out the old floor and put in a new floor.

Then after the new floor was in we tore out the linoleum and he and his dad worked VERY hard putting in our new laminate flooring. Neither one of them had ever done this before but the did absolutely marvelous.

I feel very special that they worked so hard to give me a pretty kitchen and a floor that I wouldn't fall through whilst doing the dishes. :) Doesn't it look beautiful?

Fish Days

There comes a time in every boy's life where they are suppose to have a dog - Brayden is not there yet. Okay...well, I'M not there yet. So, today he and I went and got a fish. This is a very big deal.
