Well, I had a basal cell removed and let's just say it turned out to be more of a procedure then we originally thought. It looks worse then it really is..as far as it will heal and not leave much of a scar. After 4.5 hours of laying on a table having people stare at me through little goggles, I was finally able to go home. My mom and dad saved the the day by taking care of the kids, and then I didn't realize that my vision would be impaired so mom had to go pick me up at the hospital, and THEN they stayed and cooked us supper and went to the store to get me first aid stuff and Tylenol.
Zac and I look halarious. Things have been pretty rough around here but we've been laughing constantly because this whole situation is so comical. It'll be funny that in all of our pictures of Trini's first birthday this is how we looked. :) Those pictures are coming later. My "eye" needs a break. It's funny how confusing the world is for awhile with only one eye. It throws everything off a bit.

Oh wow - I am SO SORRY you guys are having to deal with all this. I will pray for you tonight, that tomorrow isn't too hard and that your eye doesn't hurt too badly, and that none of the children try to rip your bandage off...AAAHHH!

Oh my word! Bless you heart AND your eye AND your knee! I pray you two heal really fast. It's no fun being sick...unless you can have such a wonderful attitude like you all do! I doubt VERY seriously (but there's alway hope) that I would be so cheerful! You are a reall blessing!

What an encouragement it is to hear how you can laugh about this whole situation, despite all the timing seeming wrong. Even better that your parents were there to help. Praying for a swift recovery.
my goodness, that looks miserable. i missed what is wrong with your beloved and i'm not sure what a basal cell is but i'll google it... hoping you are both up and around and feeling well soon :)
