Stroller, Roses, and Sticky Yumminess

79 cent stroller....you just can't beat that. A warm "thank you" to the American Greatest Thrift Store. I personally don't think it's the GREATEST thrift store, but the little pink stroller was a pretty wonderful surprise.

Aren't I just the luckiest person in the whole wide world to have neighbors with THIS beautiful rose bush? Not only do I get to look at it every morning, I don't have to take care of it at all. If we are still in this house during the fall, however, my neighbor is going to give me a clipping from it to plant. They also have a chicken coop and allow us to take the kids down to their house whenever we want...Brady loves roosters. I don't know if you remember my post last year about making crab apple butter but it was from their tree that I got all my apples. We are definitely blesses to have Virgil and Judy in our lives.

Havala came over one day last week which was such a nice treat. The kids LOVE Hav and I think Brady might have fallen even more in love with her truck. Every time she comes both the kids want to play in the truck bed...this particular day I surprised them with chocolate ice cream cones...delicious.

Tonight I'm going to a bachlorette party (can you call it that?) for a friend of mine. I already took her a gift to her bridal shower but for this party they wanted more"personal" items. So...I wanted to brag on my little creative bundle I made for her for less then 4 dollars by using all of my CVS goodness that I've been stocking up on. This little basket I found at Hobby Lobby...right now they are having a HUGE sale on baskets for all of you who are basket lovers. Anyways, inside it has an Aveeno lotion, a bottle of Revlon nail polish, a soap from Pier 1, two tea lights with green glass holders, a Rosewater lip balm and a thing of Tic tacs. Oh....I did the deal at CVS yesterday where in the end I only spent 3 cents out of pocket and got 10 bucks back and came away with two little bottle of Neutrogena sunblock and a tin of Mango altoids. Yes!

I rejoice with you on your great bargains and feel sad for myself on what I'm missing out.

That is such a cute stroller for Trin. Jaida has one very similar that my parents bought her. She simply loves it.
