During Christmas Brady decided to paint his walls all by himself. I've been wanting his room painted for awhile now so that was a lovely *green light* to go ahead with our plans.
I really love the way it turned out...very crisp and clean .... cozy too.
Zac went out to get the paint while I stayed home and cleaned out Brady's room and get all the prep work done. Let me tell you...it took great
STRENGTH to let Zac pick out which hue of blue for the ceiling. Turns out - he did a pretty snazzy job...Brady feels like he's sleeping under the sky.
Oh...and for those of you with little kids and not a lot of storage space...here's an idea I like for storing things. These don't just have to be for shoes...you can put books, scarves and hats, videos and night cds....bunches of stuff. :) Oh...we're still waiting to put in a light fixture - we have one but for some reason whenever it's connected the light stays on and won't turn off with the switch. Hmmmm...another mystery from the 70 year old house. :)

That is a great idea for storage. Right now Jaida only has 2 pairs of shoes in use, but for when she gets older. :)
Love the way the room turned out as well. It's amazing what a fresh coat of paint can do. I'd love to paint, but it's forbidden in these townhomes.
