Frolicing

A child's life has no dates, it is free, silent, dateless.
A child's life ought to be a child's life, full of simplicity.

- Oswald Chambers

Each child is an adventure into a better life - an opportunity to change the old pattern and make it new.

- Hubert H. Humphrey

Each child is created in the special image and likeness of God for greater things - to love and be loved.
- Mother Teresa

For unflagging interest and enjoyment, a household of children, if things go reasonably well, certainly makes all other forms of success and achievement lose their importance by comparison.
- Theodore Roosevelt
Monday we were able to spend the whole morning out in the sunshine on a last minute picnic. We drove to Wildwood GA to get a bag of grain and some spices and such and, after getting there, decided that the weather was so nice we ought to just stay out in it! So I picked up a loaf of fresh made bread from the country store, some jam and apples and bananas and we called it "lunch." The kids had so much fun playing that even though we got home at nap time we just let them skip sleep all together and play in the yard. Good thing too because today it is rainy and will be wet all week. :(
Today went fairly well. Zac is at work and I basically did laundry ALL day long and I also was able to grind some wheat and bake bread. I'm really trying hard to not use my bread machine and just do it by hand (I love the kneading process) but so far I haven't lucked up on a very good whole wheat bread recipe. Anyone want to share one?
